Updated October 2026 for the new Locatr.
Social media posts disappear in a day and paid ads stop the moment you stop paying. A local directory listing keeps working: it's there whenever someone searches for what you do. That's the idea behind Locatr: one place to find businesses in Mossel Bay and surrounds, from Hartenbos and Dana Bay to Klein and Great Brak River.
For customers: find what you need, fast
Locatr is built for the moment you need something: a plumber tonight, coffee nearby, a vet that's open now.
Search by name, keyword or category, from restaurants to plumbers
Near me: one tap shows businesses closest to where you are
Map search: move the map and tap Search this area
Filters for Open now, Verified, Has photos, rating and distance, plus sorting by rating, distance or newest
Reviews with separate scores for service, value for money, location and cleanliness, and photos from customers
Contact in one tap: call, WhatsApp, email, visit the website or get directions straight from a listing

For business owners: be found when it matters
When someone searches for what you offer, you want to be there. A Locatr listing gives your business:
A page of its own, built so search engines can read it, with your details, map, photos and reviews
A verified badge once you claim your listing, showing customers they're dealing with the real business
Statistics: see how many people viewed your listing and clicked to call, WhatsApp, visit your website or get directions, over the last 30 or 90 days, plus a monthly summary by email
Reviews you can reply to, so you can thank happy customers and put things right with unhappy ones
Messages from customers, straight to your dashboard
A Locatr listing works alongside your Google Business Profile and social pages. Customers trust businesses that show up consistently in more than one place, so make sure your details match everywhere.
