Getting your business onto Locatr takes a few minutes and can be completely free. Before you start, search Locatr for your business name: if it's already there, claim it instead of adding a duplicate.
Step 1: Create an account or sign in
Click Sign In at the top right. New to Locatr? Choose Register and fill in your details. You may be asked to confirm your email address before you can sign in.
Step 2: Choose a package
Go to Add Listing and pick a package:

Compare everything on the pricing page. With Premium, you pay first through PayFast and then fill in your listing. You can switch on monthly auto-renew at checkout and cancel it any time.
Step 3: Fill in your listing
The form is split into sections:
Basic information: your business name, up to 10 categories, keywords people might search for (for example "coffee, breakfast, wifi") and your logo
Location: your address and area, so you show up in area pages and "Near me" searches
Gallery: clear photos of your shopfront, products or work
Details: a description, plus your phone, email, website and WhatsApp number (include the country code, e.g. +27 82 123 4567)
Opening hours, pricing menu and FAQ: available with Premium
Tip: write your description the way you'd describe the business to a customer. Say what you do, where you work and what makes you different. Specific beats salesy.
Step 4: Submit for review
When you're happy, submit. Our team checks new listings against our listing guidelines and you'll get an email as soon as yours is live.
Step 5: Keep it fresh
From your dashboard you can edit your listing any time, reply to reviews, answer messages from customers and see your statistics: how many people viewed your listing and clicked to call, WhatsApp, visit your website or get directions. Owners also get a short monthly summary by email.
